My name is Shelly Qualtieri and I am a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW), am a certified Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Trainer (ASIST), and SafeTALK trainer.
I provide individual counselling and coaching services to adults, children ( 7 - 17 years), and families who are seeking support with personal issues, suicidal ideation, anxiety, relationship challenges, stress, communication barriers, and often a complex overlap of many of these areas. I have been supporting people for over 25 - years with great successes.
I have worked in a variety of areas throughout my career in both the government and not-for-profit sector internationally. For the past 10 - years I have been in management roles working with teams as small as 8 and Departments as large as 60. I have an excellent understanding of complex issues within family settings all while trying to have a work - life balance! I have worked in the areas of:
