Supporting and empowering individuals, children, couples and families to develop the courage to change the impossible to I'm possible & live your most Fiercely Fabulous life.

Thank you for visiting my website! Reaching out and researching professionals who can help can be an intimidating and overwhelming experience. Finding the right fit for you is essential to reach and achieve the results you are seeking.

My name is Shelly Qualtieri and I am a Registered Social Worker with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW), am a certified Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Trainer (ASIST), and SafeTALK trainer. I provide individual counselling and coaching services to adults, children (8 -17 years), couples and families who are seeking support with personal issues, relationship challenges, stress, communication, lifestyle issues, and often a complex overlap of many of these areas for over 20 - years with great successes.

I understand that relationships with ourselves and others can make or break us and are pivotal to reaching our best selves. This starts in the home with those that love and support us. As people -  both big and small, families -  together or fractured we may make mistakes and need support to navigate through the maze. This is where I come in! I realize the power of positive and healthy relationships and the possibilities that grow from them, whether we remain together or grow apart.

I have worked in a variety of areas throughout my career in both the government and not-for-profit sector internationally. For the past 10 - years I have been in management roles working with teams as small as 8 and Departments as large as 60. I have an excellent understanding of organizational and culture change, complex issues within family settings, suicide awareness, employment lay-offs, all while trying to have a work - life balance! I have worked in the areas of:

  • Mental Health

  • Domestic Violence

  • Training & Development

  • Suicide Safety

  • Women in Leadership

  • Culture Change and Organizational Change

  • Family Systems / Child Protective Services

  • Conflict Resolution for adults and children

  • Mindfulness for adults and children

  • Friendships and Healthy Boundaries for adults and children

  • Communication Skill Development for adults and children

I support each person I work with in a safe, inspiring way and work towards setting healthy and positive goals with you.
