#32 Being Vulnerable and Asking for Help
Sometimes it takes experiences such as a house fire or evacuation, the pandemic, losing a family member, losing a job... to realize that we need to be vulnerable enough to ASK. FOR. HELP.
In order to grow as a person, we need to gather our tribe, find a confidant or a mentor, a support person, As Brene’ Brown tells us; too many of us equate being vulnerable with weakness however; as she so famously quotes, “vulnerability is not weakness; it’s our greatest measure of courage”.
