According to a study conducted by the Canadian Mental Health Association, anxiety disorders are the most common mental health condition among youth in Canada, with approximately 10-20% of Canadian youth experiencing a diagnosable anxiety disorder. The study also found that anxiety is often under-diagnosed in youth, with only one-third of those experiencing symptoms receiving appropriate treatment.
